  8. The  debate  is  over, everyone agreed
  9. that  using  scanners  is bad, and the
  10. scene    should   ban   the   scanning
  11. graphicians.  It is far more hard, and
  12. takes   more   creativity  to  make  a
  13. picture  without  model  or  scanning.
  14. Everyone  felt  so  fucking proud when
  15. they   found  out  that  CAT/Essence's
  16. picture  on  the Party 2.  was scanned
  17. (what is a bullshit say the creators).
  18. You  can  read  in every second scroll
  19. that one graphician found out that the
  20. other was scanning.
  21. So,  my  friends,  let's get an end to
  22. all this shit.

  25.    and corrected picture, and that's a
  26.    fact.

  28. This  is  very sad, but very true.  It
  29. means  that  all  that  shitty  gossip
  30. mania about graphicians doesn't mean a
  31. fuck,  cause  there  can be anyone who
  32. uses a scanner and you don't even know
  33. about  it,  and  you  vote for him.  I
  34. imagine  that  some  of you think they
  35. are  very  smart  and can smell a scan
  36. from miles, but that's a lie.
  37. It  is  bedtime,  so let me tell you a
  38. lullaby.   Once upon a time, there was
  39. a  guy  who  used  to  spend hours and
  40. hours  pixelling  a picture, he really
  41. sweat  his  blood out.  He became very
  42. famous  and  popular,  he had a unique
  43. style  that simply couldn't be a scan.
  44. Now  this guy found a scanned picture,
  45. which  looked really crap.  He decided
  46. to  try  a new method and he corrected
  47. the  mistakes  of  the  scanner, added
  48. some  background, and took the picture
  49. to  the  party.   Everyone  adored the
  50. picture, graphicians looked at it with
  51. zoomlenses,  still  the  guy went home
  52. with  his  prize,  and noone dared him
  53. that  he has scanned the picture.  I'm
  54. in  an overhelmingly honest mood, so I
  55. can  tell you that the guy is me, Rack
  56. of  Absolute!,  and  as a graphician I
  57. can  tell that sadly enough noone will
  58. ever recognize a scanned picture if it
  59. is corrected nicely.  But, don't think
  60. that it is so easy, cause...
  61. . Re-pixelling  a  scan  is simply as
  62.    hard as making a new picture!

  77. Bloody.   You  have  just dreamed that
  78. how  cool would you be with a scanner,
  79. so  wake up, that's not the way it is.
  80. To  make  a  scan unrecognizeable, you
  81. have  to  work for long days or weeks,
  82. believe  me, not one pixel will remain
  83. the  same!   With  a scanner you might
  84. get a right figure, but not much more.
  85. If  you don't correct it, it will look
  86. utterly  crap.  You have to remake the
  87. colors,   make   the   anti-alias  and
  88. generally  redraw  the whole shit, but
  89. you have an outline.

  91. So,  I  will not use scanners forever,
  92. no,  not at all.  It is a bloody work,
  93. but  if  you have problems with making
  94. an  outline  it helps.  A lot of times
  95. it  is easier to draw on your own.  To
  96. conclude  my article:  you can hardly,
  97. nearly  never  decide  if a picture is
  98. scanned, but it makes no difference at
  99. all.   You  still need a big talent to
  100. make  it  look  nice,  and graphicians
  101. will  still  make  their  own pictures
  102. mainly.
